Luis Jacob

Luis Jacob is a Peruvian-born, Toronto-based artist whose work destabilizes viewing conventions and invites collisions of meaning. He studied semiotics and philosophy at the University of Toronto. Since participating in documenta 12 in 2007, he has achieved an international reputation with exhibitions at the Corner at Whitman-Walker, Washington, D.C.

Bonnie Devine & Luis Jacob

Bonnie Devine is an installation artist, video maker, curator, writer, and educator. Using cross-disciplinary iterations of written, visual, and performative practice, Devine explores issues of land, environment, treaty, history, and narrative. Though formally educated in Fine Art at the Ontario College of Art & Design University (OCAD U) and York University in Toronto, Devine’s most enduring learning came from her grandparents, who were Anishinaabe trappers on the Canadian Shield in northern Ontario.

Yan Wu

Born and raised in Shanghai, Yan Wu moved to Canada in 2001 and currently lives in Toronto. She holds a Master of Visual Studies, Curatorial Studies, from the University of Toronto. Between 2010 and 2012, she acted as the Director of Programming at the Gendai Gallery and subsequently stayed on the board’s programming committee until 2019. Currently she is the Public Art Curator for the City of Markham.

Mark Dudiak

Mark Dudiak (he/him) is a Toronto based artist whose work explores loss through painting, video, and installation. A settler born on Treaty 6 territory in Saskatoon, he holds a BFA from Emily Carr University, Vancouver and an MFA from Concordia University, Montréal. Dudiak has exhibited across Canada and Europe at venues such as ZK/U Berlin, Projet Pangee Montréal, Forest City Gallery London, Access Vancouver, and Nuit Blanche Toronto
